Kadokawa Games will release the PS Vita version of Kantai Collection -
Kan Colle Kai alongside a Limited Edition as well in August! Though it
was supposed to come out earlier in May, it's been delayed for three
months; regardless, what we know so far seems quite interesting!
Originally a popular free-to-play web browser game based on the
dramatic and dynamic relationships that only transforming battleship
girls have, Kadokawa Games customizes KanColle for the PS Vita, with a
high-tuned system restructure and user interface redesign.
Gamers are going to enjoy new console improvements with novel fleet
combat experiences with the introduction of actually controlling the
girls, advanced weaponry (like the twin high-angle trajectory gun
mount), and special tactical skills (different types of sonar), all
involving the Kanmusu!
As for the Limited Edition, Kan Colle Kai will have it's very own
custom PS Vita Slim!

BigBoysToys Street Fighter T.N.C-01 Ryu Delayed Till April T_T

We know that a lot of you have been waiting for the release of
BigBoysToys' T.N.C-01 Ryu diorama set, especially since it's been
slated for this month, but unfortunately they've decided to hold back
the release until April for quality improvement reasons. The following
is their official statement, and can be found on their Facebook page:

"Collect the mysterious Memory Fragments to unravel the truth!"
Xblaze Lost: Memories is the second visual novel of the BlazBlue
franchise released by Arc System Works. As a direct sequel to XBlaze
Code: Embryo, Lost: Memories is also created by the original writer
and executive producer of the Blazblue universe, Toshimichi Mori, and
will be available on both PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®Vita.
This time, players will follow a new heroine Watashi - a pink-haired
protagonist in burdened to find her sister who mysteriously disappears
into the bottom of the Phantom Field. By gathering Azure crystals also
known as "Memory Fragments," these are the keys to progress. As well,
for fans of the series, Toya Kagari, the protagonist from Code Embryo
will also be part of this game to a certain extent.
Introducing 16-bit high resolution visuals enhancing a twisting plot
line, as well as combining a 2D dungeon exploration mode where
characters are rendered in a chibi-fied form, players will experience
two types of gameplay in one title, taking the visual novel genre into
the realm of adventure RPGs. Like all visual novels worth their salt,
multiple paths allows players to have multiple endings based on the
choices they make within the game, allowing for replayability.
In the mean time, according to Aksys Games, the localized U.S. version
- XBLAZE: Lost Memories will head to North America in the Summer for
both the PS3 and PSVita.
Definitely worth checking out if you have played the first one, or are
generally a fan of the visual novel genre currently enjoying a new
renaissance on the Vita.

Xblaze Lost: Memories is the second visual novel of the BlazBlue
franchise released by Arc System Works. As a direct sequel to XBlaze
Code: Embryo, Lost: Memories is also created by the original writer
and executive producer of the Blazblue universe, Toshimichi Mori, and
will be available on both PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®Vita.
This time, players will follow a new heroine Watashi - a pink-haired
protagonist in burdened to find her sister who mysteriously disappears
into the bottom of the Phantom Field. By gathering Azure crystals also
known as "Memory Fragments," these are the keys to progress. As well,
for fans of the series, Toya Kagari, the protagonist from Code Embryo
will also be part of this game to a certain extent.
Introducing 16-bit high resolution visuals enhancing a twisting plot
line, as well as combining a 2D dungeon exploration mode where
characters are rendered in a chibi-fied form, players will experience
two types of gameplay in one title, taking the visual novel genre into
the realm of adventure RPGs. Like all visual novels worth their salt,
multiple paths allows players to have multiple endings based on the
choices they make within the game, allowing for replayability.
In the mean time, according to Aksys Games, the localized U.S. version
- XBLAZE: Lost Memories will head to North America in the Summer for
both the PS3 and PSVita.
Definitely worth checking out if you have played the first one, or are
generally a fan of the visual novel genre currently enjoying a new
renaissance on the Vita.
